Singapore has added two infant formula and food supplement additives to the list of Permitted Food Additives.

Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has added entry for sodium salts of 3′-sialyllactose (3′-SL) and 6′-sialyllactose (6′-SL).

These two food additives are usually used in infant formula, infant food, food for special medical purposes and food supplements. The @European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) conducted a safety assessment on them in May 2020 and gave positive feedback.
